Cybersecurity is the most rapidly evolving risk faced by businesses today. Both private and public companies are at risk. Public companies, prompted by the SEC, face the additional burden of reviewing their disclosures on this topic.  Lawsuits will inevitably follow. 

Woodruff-Sawyer partners Lauri Floresca and Priya Cherian Huskins participated in a Cybersecurity conference hosted by the legal experts on this topic at Pillsbury. The event kicked off with security expert Rodney Jaffe’s keynote address, which indeed his live demonstration of the market for sensitive corporate data. The conference next addressed risk management concerns and mitigation techniques when it comes to cybersecurity risks. Finally, Priya Huskins moderated a discussion between Lauri Floresca and Pillsbury partner Rene Siemens on the insurance concerns and solutions when it comes to cybersecurity risks.
