Jim has more than 26 years of experience designing health & welfare programs. Not only does he bring well-rounded expertise to support clients’ benefit goals and administration activities, he is also focused on client relationship management, business development and continued growth of Woodruff-Sawyer’s Employee Benefits Practice. Prior to joining Woodruff-Sawyer, Jim spent 13 years with a large insurance services firm, where he served as Executive Vice President. Chris Reiter, Vice President, Employee Benefits
For over 15 years, Chris has been providing companies with best-in-class solutions focused on cost-containment and return on investment. He leverages his experience from both the brokerage and carrier sides and uses particular expertise in consumer-driven healthcare, wellness, alternative funding arrangements and industry best practices to help clients contain their benefits costs. He is a frequent speaker on these and other employee benefits topics. Prior to joining Woodruff-Sawyer, Chris served as Vice President at a large health insurance services company. Jeff Richied, Account Executive, Employee Benefits
With 15 years of experience in Human Resources and Payroll Account Management with industry leaders such as ADP and Ceridian, Jeff has an extensive track record in the employee benefits marketplace. Jeff’s focus at Woodruff-Sawyer is focused primarily on client relationship management and Employee Benefits business development. Prior to joining Woodruff-Sawyer, Jeff served as Area Sales Manager at Fidelity HR Access, where he was responsible for new client business development and client retention of mid-market accounts. Jeff successfully provided industry leading, best in class solutions focused on improving efficiencies and containing costs. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Chico State University. Larry Coyne, Vice President, Surety
Larry has more than 35 years of experience specializing in surety services for the construction industry. During his career, Larry has handled national and international construction accounts as well as those of local San Francisco Bay Area contractors. Larry is involved in various construction associations, including the Engineering and Contractors Association, Beavers Inc., Associated General Contractors, and Engineering Contractors Association. Tom Hughes, Vice President, Construction & Real Estate Practice
With 35 years of experience in the brokerage field, Tom plays a key role in managing current client relationships, developing new business, along with overseeing the design and marketing of Woodruff-Sawyer's commercial accounts written in our North Bay office. He specializes in property & casualty exposures for several different industries including Construction, Manufacturing, Hospitality, and Wineries. Tom is also involved with a number of industry associations and is a current member of the North Bay Leadership Council. Joe Costamagna, Account Executive
Joe is a North Bay native and specializes in insurance and risk management strategies for multiple industries, including construction, energy, wholesalers/distributors, food service, and manufacturing. His hands-on approach to client relationships includes ongoing loss control analysis, aggressive claims management and an eye toward lowering clients’ overall cost of risk. Prior to joining our firm, Joe worked for six years at a large brokerage firm, where he was a vice president and commercial lines producer. Joe has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from California State University, Chico. He is on the Board of Directors for the Engineering Contractors Association (ECA) and the American Subcontractors Association (ASA), and a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME).
