A 19 year veteran of the insurance industry, Zac has management and leadership responsibility for the Claim Audit & Consulting Practice at Woodruff-Sawyer. Whether Property-Casualty, Management Liability, or Workers’ Compensation related, Zac spends much of his time helping our clients solve their most complex and catastrophic claim problems. Zac also provides client consultation in the areas of resolving coverage disputes, business litigation, and large-scale catastrophic property losses both nationally and internationally.

 

Prior to joining Woodruff-Sawyer, Zac was with the State Farm Insurance Companies, where he managed various P&C claim departments. He was also a member of the company’s national catastrophe team, providing emergency claim response following some of the most notable disasters in U.S. history.
  
Zac is a well-known instructor and author on the topic of insurance risk management. He has co-authored insurance education textbooks and has been published in leading industry journals such as the CPCU Journal, Risk Management Quarterly, and Risk Management Magazine.

Zac earned his MBA from Golden Gate University in San Francisco and bachelor’s degree in economics from Sonoma State University. He holds the CPCU, ARM, CPDM, MLIS and RIMS Fellow designations.
