Stephan Gaitley, CPCU, Sr. Vice President, Real Estate
Steve is responsible for the overall leadership of Woodruff-Sawyer’s Real Estate Practice and serves as senior advisor to the firm's real estate owners, investment advisors, property managers and developers. Prior to joining Woodruff-Sawyer, Steve was practice leader and senior vice president of Marsh & McLennan's San Francisco Real Estate Industry Group. Steve began his career in 1985 with Sedgwick of California and was the business group manager/vice president responsible for the development and ongoing operation of its real estate group. Steve has been a risk management and insurance instructor for the Building Owners & Managers Association (BOMA) and serves regularly as a panelist and presenter on issues of insurance and risk management in the real estate industry.
Steve earned his M.B.A. from San Francisco State University and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan. He has a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) designation and an Insurance Solicitor License.
