Megan Colwell, Sr. Vice President, D&O
Megan specializes in Directors & Officers liability insurance for public and privately held companies. Megan provides risk management and insurance counsel to companies of all sizes, ranging from start-ups to multi-national firms. Prior to joining Woodruff-Sawyer, Megan was with Chubb for 19 years in various positions, including underwriter, marketing manager, branch manager, and regional manager.
In addition to her client activities, Megan speaks regularly on matters of insurance and securities litigation. She has presented to the National Investor Relations Institute, the Tillinghast Towers Annual D&O Seminar and the American Conference Institute. She currently serves as Chair of the Finance Council for IBA West, a not-for-profit trade association representing insurance agents and brokers in the western United States. Megan received her bachelor's degree from San Francisco State University.
