Charles Rosson, Chief Executive Officer

 

With over 16 years of experience in the insurance industry, Charlie provides leadership to our organization and oversees our strategic direction and growth.

Charlie began with Woodruff-Sawyer in 2004 as Employee Benefits Practice Leader. In that role, he led the benefits team to achieve 100% growth in practice revenues and a 98% client retention rate. Prior to joining our firm, Charlie was senior vice president and benefits practice leader for Marsh Inc. in its Newport Beach office. He also held other benefits consulting and management positions in San Francisco with Marsh and Sedgwick.

In addition to being on Woodruff-Sawyer’s Board of Directors, Charlie is a board member of the Council of Employee Benefits Executives (CEBE), which represents the benefits community as part of the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers, a Washington, D.C.-based industry trade association.

Charlie is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles. He is a licensed agent in life and health as well as property and casualty.
