Carolyn is Practice Leader of Woodruff-Sawyer’s Corporate and Executive Protection (CorpEx) group. In this role, Carolyn serves as a senior resource and advisor to both clients as well as Woodruff-Sawyer brokers and consultants on matters relating to the full suite of CorpEx insurance policies, including directors & officers liability, employment practices and fiduciary liability insurance. Carolyn also manages our team of management liability specialists, and drives the direction and development of the CorpEx practice.

A key member of the CorpEx Claims Committee, Carolyn ties lessons learned from our claims experience with insurance carriers directly into the insurance broking process. Consequently, Carolyn is able to drive and obtain for clients some of the most cutting-edge, innovative coverage enhancements available in the marketplace today.

Prior to joining Woodruff-Sawyer, Carolyn spent 11 years as a financial institutions underwriter for directors & officers as well as errors & omissions liability insurance. Carolyn leverages this technical knowledge as Co-Chair of Woodruff-Sawyer’s Insurance Carrier Market Security Committee. In this role, Carolyn determines the financial criteria for Woodruff-Sawyer’s approved list of insurance carriers and regularly monitors insurance carriers’ financial statements to ensure compliance with this criteria.

Carolyn has been a featured panelist for the nationally prominent Professional Liability Underwriting Society, among others. Carolyn has an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Rider University.
