Robert (Bob) Appleby, Vice President
Bob has been instrumental in developing Woodruff-Sawyer’s client education curriculum and is a presenter in many of our seminars. Bob leads our client seminar on “The Principles of Risk Management and Insurance” and has helped with Workers’ Compensation Overview, Directors & Officers 101 and other client education seminars. In addition to his role in client education, Bob actively manages client accounts in the areas of technology, real estate and manufacturing.
Bob began his career in the insurance industry in 1971, and he joined Woodruff-Sawyer in 1985, after working for a national brokerage firm as well as a large insurance company. Bob has taught classes for the Insurance Education Association (IEA) and is a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). He received his BA from Stanford University.
